Looking for 6x284 load data.

Anyone able to share some 6/284 starting loads? Hoping to use my H1000 and 106 tap, 108 eldm or 115 dtacs. TIA.

I just finished up load development on my 6-284. It is a custom built with a 21" Bartlein. Load is as follows:
55.2 Gr H-1000
Norma Brass
210M Primers
109 Berger LRHT

Muzzle Velocity averages at 3100fps. This ended up being about 1.5 grains below max for my gun.

I really like mine so far. I almost wish I would have gone a little shorter. I am thinking about making the leap into the suppressor world and think a little shorter would have worked better.

How long did you go? I have a suppressor in jail that’s the main reason I started going shorter on the last few barrels

I ended up going 21" long. During the build process I was hesitant to go shorter thinking that I was handicapping the cartridge. Looking back now I probably should have run a 19-20". However, hindsight is always 20-20. I am getting 3100 with H-1000. I haven't even tried 570 or Retumbo. I would imagine they would yield better velocities yet.

That will be a nice setup. Really wish I had a suppressor to throw on mine. I need to get off my rear end and start the process of getting one.

108gr ELDM - 50gr of H1000 should be around 2700fps and 41,700 PSI in a case with 57.9gr H2O capacity. This is my estimations from QuickLOAD, so do your own verification. Based on the same configuratoon, 55.2gr would be 3,032fps, 58,210 psi, 104.6% fill ratio. So that’s reasonably close to the post above.
