Anybody got some used .300 Savage they’re not going to reload?

Somebody’s got a paper bag full of used .300 savage brass in the back of their gun cabinet they’ve been meaning to get rid of for years…

If you can't find any brass, you can make some with .308 brass. It's a pain, but it works.

Can I just run .308 through a .300 savage sizing die? They’re pretty close to start with.

I would try running a few through your press and trimming them to length and then try chambering a few unprimed rounds with your desired OAL. It generally works, but sometimes it just won't.

Probably not worth your trip to the post office/shipping cost. I'd love to find at least 100 pieces for around $0.50 each. I suspect somebody has a bunch of it somewhere out there...
