@Pony Soldier we must hunt the same area!
26 years I felt just like you. Woke up one morning the wife ask me if I was o.k. as I was getting ready for work told her today, I retire, I was 57 years old that was nine years ago and don't miss it one damn bit, were doing well, live a good life hunt fish and do whatever I- we want. My advice is if you can do it don't wait. Right now, is a slack time for me hunting season is out for the year, waiting on spring turkey, trout fishing, load development and lots of range time to prepare the rifles if I draw tags for Wyoming antelope and mule deer this coming October.I'll be 57 this fall and really looking forward to retirement,,,maybe at 62,
Feel like I'm wasting my time at work.
