Looking at getting a Kifaru 357 Mag in Coyote. Have question about the dimensions of the side pocket and also the Organiser/Guide lid.

I want to use this bag with my Gitzo tripod. Could anyone who has one measure the dimentions of the side pockets please? The tripod is about 48 cm long and 12 cm at the widest. Would it fit and zip up in one of the side pockets?

Also, can the guide lid work properly on the Mag 357? Apparently it only works with duplex frame packs but i believe the 357 has duplex straps...
