Well due to health and other issues I’ve managed to rack up 4 preference points for both antelope and deer in Wyoming. It certainly looks like I’ll be good to go for next year so I’d like to start planning a trip now. I’ll be 70 next year so I don’t plan on scaling the Tetons to get to my hunt area but I’m still pretty capable. I’ve hunted Wyoming in the past north of Douglas on a ranch, but I’d like to see if there are better options out there. Does anyone have any pointers or recommendations?

Life is too short to use the regular draw. Find the units that took 2.5-3.5 points in the special draw in 2024. Compare those units for what you are looking for (location, terrain, public land %, season dates, etc.). Pick a unit. Go have fun.

Especially as an FNG, you are not likely to get many recommendations on places. I think what @j_volt gave you is very good advice and probably the best you are going to get.
