LongRifles Inc, slow service

I certainly did not intend for this thread to be a forum centered around debate of the merits of email vs phone communication

I've used LRI twice within the past couple years for Tikka semi custom builds. First one took about 2.5 months. I sent them the action, stock and a Bartlein barrel to cut/chamber/thread and minor stock inletting. 2nd one took about 5 months. I sent the same stock with a different action, and used their barrel supplier (K&P) to cut/chamber/thread two identical barrels to my specs. Not cheap but I'm satisfied with the work, amd wouldn't hesitate to go that route again.

OP

I own LRI. My apologies for us not being able to catch your call. It's been a 20-year struggle managing the balance between communication vs processing work on the floor.

Every staff member has a phone in their department and they do their best to catch calls coming in. Temper this by knowing that if they are running a machine, their focus has to be on the job. That is a rigid policy of mine. No sales or tech call is worth a trip to an emergency room, the cost of repairing a crashed CNC machine, and/or ruining someone's property.

605.490.8241 is my personal cell. If you'd still like to talk, I'll do my best to catch your call.

All the best,

C.
