what action is that Westdan

Fierce makes their own action but it's very similar to a sako. I heard some good things so I figured I'd try one and see how it ends up. Just starting the project so it's hard to tell yet. Magazine allows seating Berger 210s into the lands (haven't measured it exactly yet but am not restricted from seating on the lands if I wanted - measured that at least with dummy rounds). I shot a couple rounds today and it was impressive, sub half inch at 100. Going to try and see if I can get it accurate with the 210s or 215s around 3000fps. Bunch of work to go, and not much free time in next month unfortunately.

Yea they make their own stocks, the stocks are carbon fiber composite. The whole thing is pretty light but not too light for a LR rig in my opinion (around 7lbs not including scope, mount, bipod). I put the mount and scope on it (all nightforce components). It uses rem 700 bases so pretty flexible on options there. The barrel is hand lapped, fluted, and comes with a muzzle brake. The barrel and action are titanium coated. The bolt is fluted. It came with a target to prove accuracy, and the target showed .33 MOA for handloaded Berger 185 vlds, and .65 MOA for factory core lokts.

It definitely looks really sharp, but the performance for me is still TBD.
