Any knuckle draggers out there have advice on what arrows to use? I have a 33" draw at 65lbs. Most of the arrows that I have looked up are sold at 32.5 or 33". Will that be a problem?

My god you must trip over your hands when you walk!

In all seriousness, you don’t have to worry about the length- I’m a 30” draw and shoot 28.25” carbon to carbon shafts.

You’ll probably need a 250 or 260 spine at that length and draw weight. If your bow has more aggressive cams or you have more point/insert weight up front, you might need to drop to 200 but I doubt you’d have to.

I am a 32.5 or 33" draw and typically keep my arrows full length. Shoot 250s @ 70 lbs on my Traverse. I could shoot 300s on my old bowtech @ 65lbs.

Let me know what your bow setup is and I can run the numbers through ot2 if you want to get a starting point

I just ordered a Hoyt double xl, 33” DL, 65lbs. Is that all that you need?

I’m looking at getting 5mm FMJ or 4mm injexion FMJ

If you’re going to put any amount of weight on the front of those arrows (125+ grain point and really any insert over 25ish grains), I’d lean towards the 250 fmj or a 260 axis. The longer carbon to carbon length of the arrow will significantly weaken your spine. A longer insert will help stiffen it, but you’d still be on the weak side with the injexions

I’ve got similar setup, switched to Easton axis 5mm in 260 after trying 340, 300 etc and that’s been the ticket for me.

I think all Black Eagle arrows are 32" , you should be fine as your arrow will probably only need to be 31-31.5 inces at most. I would recommend the BE X-Impacts in 200 spine

Shooting 60 lbs w/ 348 IBO, 31.5inch draw, I went with gold tip hunter XT in 250 spine, if you order from custom shop I think you can get them a little longer than the stock length, which I think is 32 or 32.5
