Pulled this barrel off a Lone Peak Razor action. Have roughly 200 rounds down the tube, only ever shot factory 143 ELDX and 147 ELDM. Don’t have velocity data or pictures of groups but it shot well enough for my applications. Decided to rebarrel to a different caliber.

It should. Timing and headspace should be the same between the impact and line peak actions.

Impacts require more clearance for a longer bolt nose, I think it's 0.005"

If it's cut for an Impact, it will run on a Fuzion

I’ve heard that but also that the ts prefits fit both but the markings won’t line up properly.

I can't remember if they time the same - I'll see if I have pics. I've had ~8 TS Customs "Fuzion" prefits in the past 2 years, plus 737 prefits from Stuteville and Preece, all run on 2 Fuzions. That said, TS Customs & many other gunsmiths just cut the bolt nose recess to 0.150" on .473bf Fuzion prefits anyways (versus 0.140" spec). I don't know how anyone is cutting non-prefits though.

@Smcask100 can put his caliper depth gauge on the back of the barrel & let everyone know if it's 0.150 or 0.140

So you’ve tried a fusion on an impact action with a headspace gauge and it didn’t work? First time I’ve heard that specifically with a ts prefit

You said it wouldn’t run and then said it headspaces the same. If you screwed this on an impact action it wouldn’t run? The only reason I ask is a have a couple impacts and need another barrel.

The 0.140" bolt nose clearance on a barrel with an actual Fuzion tenon is too shallow for an Impact bolt to close, it will make contact with the rear of the barrel, that's the issue

If the bolt recess is cut to 0.150", it will run no problem
