Any advice on a lodge based hunt on Kodiak? Looking at Larsen Bay Area currently. Anyone to stay away from?

Before you consider investing in a lodge, are you aware non residents are only allowed to shoot one blacktail?

I am aware. I’m not totally sold on a lodge but would like to do duck and deer hunting. Going this year for a drop hunt on Kodiak.

Cranberry Creek on Raspberry Island. Hunted in early September last year. Saw tons of deer but in the early season, we were hiking 1700 feet up to the deer every day. Fishing is good. They have duck hunts later in the season. Nice to have a lodge, boat, deep freezer, extra gear, hot shower, hot meals.
