So I’ve been considering llamas for several years and have seriously looked into them especially when I lived in CO. I’m back to thinking about it again but now live in Southeast AZ. While we don’t get as hot as Phoenix we still get over 100° some days during the summer Though mid and high 90s are more common during the summer since I live at like 3800’ of elevation. So my question is can I keep llamas in a place that gets hot like it does here? Obviously have to shear them short, lots of shade, water etc. anyone have any experience like this?
