If you had the option to live in Lander, WY or Cheyenne, WY, which would you choose strictly from a deer/elk hunting standpoint?
I already hunt Colorado regularly and focus on easy-to-draw units that I’ve found to hold some extremely productive pockets, so proximity to CO is a real consideration. At the same time, Wyoming residency obviously opens up a lot of opportunity statewide.
Would close access to reliable Colorado tags influence your decision, or would you still prioritize living more centrally in Wyoming?
