Little Crow Gunworks Thorofare Tripod

I’ll start by saying that I’m not an expert in the world of tripods. Before this tripod I was using a Bogpod clamp style. Most of my experience is hunting North Georgia mountains. A once a year trip to Colorado public land elk hunting. And this past year, getting into NRL Hunter matches.

I just received in the new tripod from Little Crow Gunworks. This is one sweet tripod so far. Especially for what you’re paying. Time will tell through hunting season and NRL Hunter matches this coming season. If you’re looking for one, go check them out. If you have one, let me know your thoughts. I’m honestly in love with it. Ran it this entire hunting season with no issues. It’s the perfect size collapsed and weight isn’t bad either. I’ve got a few NRL Hunter matches coming up and an elk hunt at the end of this year that will really test it. Lastly, I had a few questions about it so I called Little Crow. Spoke with not just a human but someone that knew and understood the product. More to come!

Thanks for the update! How is it for quickly setting up? Did you use anything with a pic rail in the arca/pic attachment head it comes with? Looking at all of the tripods in this range of price this seems to either be the best option or too good to be true haha

Very quick to set up. Hard to explain but the quarter twist locks for the legs you can twist all at one time and the legs are smooth enough that they almost deploy on their own. I ordered mine with the ball head and arca. What it comes with it based upon how you order it. It definitely seems like it should cost much more than it does. You won’t be disappointed.
