Limb legs for elk?

I’ve had the Hoyt Go stix on my bow for over a year and see no reason to take them off. I’m one that doesn’t like laying my bow on the ground. They’ve kept my bow upright on every terrain I’ve been in and they fold forward or backwards so I’ve never had a snagging issue.
My vote is Yes, put them on.

Calling without a bow in your hands is going to cost you an opportunity sooner or later, for me it happened with the first one I ever called in. My bow rests very well on the stabilizer and top limb pocket with the string resting against anything vertical, like my leg, for those times I need both hands
Interesting take. If you are in terrain tight enough that the extra time between a bow resting against your leg and a bow right next to you in legs makes a difference in getting a shot.....I would suggest drawing your bow back first and then calling ;-)

I have been going the opposite direction - carbon bow, 4 arrow quiver, removed all stabilizers, no wrist sling, bare bones sight, no 'extra' attachments of any kind, etc - simply because carrying the bow around all day in the hand just adds weight.
I've mostly gone that direction on stabilizer too. My v3x with low pro quiver is so balanced, I don't need a side bar. I haven't been running a front stab most of the time, but I still plan to do a solid test at long distance with and without before actually selling it off, but just general practicing I can't see a difference.
