Lightweight Action

I had a Pierce Ti action that I foolishly sold, it was awesome and crazy light. I'd look hard at the Defiance Ti offering now too.

What’s the weight on these? Seems pricey but I’m not in the market at the moment.

Edit- just found it, 22.2oz
They list it at a straight 22oz but I'm not sure how it stacks up against others. I know an action isn't something I'd want to go too crazy on. That Ti3 is already over a half pound lighter than the origins i run. Is 22oz about standard in that genre of actions?

How does the cocking on the 75 compare to the 90 degree throw?
Never shot it with the 90 degree. The Nanook in general has a heavy cock on close. I think it’s kind of Kelbly’s thing.

Initially it felt pretty heavy but after breaking in it’s not bad. I spoke with Kelbly about it when I first got it and if I remember correctly, the 75* took roughly 1lb more cocking force than the 90* in their testing.

Most of my shooting is done with tikkas so I don’t have as much time behind 90’s to compare it to. I don’t really notice it when shooting.

Kelbly Atlas Lite and Nanook.
Defiance anTi and anTiX
Can order a Defiance Rebel with sheep hunter port and have them lighten it with extra deep flutes, etc. and get it down to 25 ounces.

Terminius Apollo Lite Ti goes 26 oz, I think it's the nicest action for the weight/feature combination

Additionally, there's Lone Peak Razor Ti and Pierce Ti @ 19oz

I have had good experience with all three
