Lighting my pack

Trying to think of ways to reduce the weight of my pack. Thinking about removing some of the padlocks being there a ton and a lot of them are in non ideal places. Has anyone done this? I have a blue widow by the way if that helps.

Fastest way would be to sell it and buy a Kifaru bikini frame.

On a more serious note, look at cutting down straps or "excess" items that you don't use. Watch Aron's video on what he removed from his Kifaru DT1, it might give you some ideas about alterations you could make to your pack.

Just know that if you start cutting on your pack you'll likely have problems with resale value. So if you really love the pack, go for it. If you envision yourself selling it at some point, keep it as is.
