Snakes are going to most likely be denned up by the rifle seasons. Don’t know if any scorpions in Wyoming Maybe southern Colorado. Spent lots of nights on the ground in ft sill Oklahoma. We had one scorpion in my battle buddies boot when he dumped it out in the morning. The drill Sargent smoked is when we screamed like bitches were his exact words. I have learned packing for the what if you end up bringing lots of shit that does not get used. Pain is a great teacher pack it all in a few years most of it will be collecting dust while you take the stuff that is actually used. I use a cimaron with a lo xl stove. Used it from South Dakota to Idaho and love it

Tarptent has some light options though you probably can find something a tad lighter. They will sew a floor in there for you....I've had one with floor and bug mesh 2# 4oz for about 20 years now. Great company. [discontinued model,]

Great quality, made in USA,...but you would have to sew a stove jack in there....not a big deal.

FWIW, I've run a stove over a floor. Its not ideal as guys are telling you...but its do-able stacking rocks under the stove.

This one would probably work,

Borah Gear Bivy is a superlight way to give your friend piece of mind and it helps with condensation on your bag. I run mine in my redcliff from Idaho elk to Az mule deer.
