Looking to find the absolute best 30mm scope ring option for my tikka build. I am probably looking for something that does't exist but I figured I would ask. Most people here recommend the dovetail clamp options as they are most durable.

Dovetail Clamp Options
Warne Hyperlite Medium: 2.8oz (Durability problems noted in other threads)
Sportsmatch Medium (T084): 3.46oz
Sportsmatch High (HT073): 4.3oz
Unknown Munitions Medium: 4.5oz
Tier One: ???

Direct Mount Options
Hawkins Precision Featherweight Medium (w/recoil pin): 1.95oz
Talley Medium: 2.7oz (Durability problems here too)

Anyone with experience with the @HawkinsPrecision rings? Hope solid are they?
Anyone with good experiences with the Warne Hyperlites?
Anyone with knowledge about the Tier One rings? Weight? Availability the US?

Any other durable and light ring options that I should consider especially dovetail clamp options?

I have the Sportsmatch. They are pretty nice, not the best machine work, they kinda seem Airsoft like to me, but seem to hold very well. They have metric hex screws so keep that in mind. At least mine do. I think the Unknown Munitions are the Cadillacs.

What scope are you mounting and what stock will you be using?

This is a general tip: it can be very helpful to search for posts by Form with the brand name in which you are interested. This helps turn up very similar questions and his opinion (supported by experience) on many items. You don't have to - and should not - blindly follow his recommendations, but a lot of what you will hear on this forum is his opinion as translated through a never-ending game of telephone. At best, it is often second or third hand.

One of the first results for such a search leads to this:

And here's an entire thread that is 18 days old about the same topic:

You can do this for almost any brand. As for me, I have only used a pair of Leupolds, which don't meet your criteria, and the UM lows, which have worked very well for me over thousands of rounds.

I bought the hyperlites once. They were junk. They were one step better than using electrical tape to mount my scope on the rifle. I have the UM Tikka rings on my Tikkas. I have a mix of Seekins rings and nightforce rings on my rifles with rails.

For me, those three have been dependable and never failed.

I found Sportsmatch to be the best value and weight option here.
No experience with UM since the higher price tag and weight won't do anything the Sportsmatch can't for me. ETA-- UM rings will offer more mounting options for a short scope like the NXS 2-10 while still having a recoil lug.

Direct mounts like the Hawkins and Talleys are not going to be as durable as a clamp style. Maybe if you epoxied them in permenantly(?)

And Hyperlites simply cannot clamp a scope or rail as well as traditional aluminum rings can--you will strip the screws before you get there. Bad design. Don't try to save that ounce.

Scope: Nightforce 2.5-10x 42mm
Stock: MDT HNT 26
Barrel: PBB Carbon 16.5in (kinda fat)

I haven't been able to put everything together quite yet but can tell you that even with my standard tikka barrel, the Sportsmatch TO84 was too low with this setup, need to be a bit higher.

Copy. That's why I was asking. @B_Reynolds_AK can likely impart some wisdom here.
