Light weight aluminum camp table

For truck camping we use a couple of fold up tables I bought at Costco. They're around 60x30 inches, heavy, won't tip over when the winds pick up. Basically same as this one.

I use a similar one as well. With a charcoal grill in can get a little warped, I started putting a piece of plywood under it and it quit warping. I was going to buy an aluminum one, but this seemed to work fine

I have 2 of the ALPS. They work fairly well, but one of them bent and I am unable to straighten the leg. The replacement part shipping from ALPS cost almost as much as a new table. I have the XL and the L. I think the next one I buy will be the Camp Time Roll Table. I am very happy with their cots and their products are Made in the US.

We’ve used the Camp Time Roll-a-Tables for decades without issue. Durable, sturdy, easy to set up, take down, clean up, haul and store. Easy choice.

I have a aluminum table from REI, about 24" by 24". The table is composed of 2 inch alumimun slates that are through bungied. Folds up to the size of a standard stadium chair. Not too heavy, but might be along the lines of what you are looking for.

I also really like the alps mountaineering table. I got mine at REI. Use it all the time. It’s fairly light, and packs up pretty small. I’ve got a tailgater tire table. It’s really nice too, but is heavier snd bulkier. Choosing one, I’d go with the Alps.

I have one of those alps mountaineering tables and it is fine. $$$ and TBH I use a pair of plastic folding tables more often for camp stuff. I have one that has foldable legs only that I use as a processing table as well as for camp. I also have one that folds in half in addition to the legs folding. It is bigger but less stable. I wouldn’t want to lay a big deer carcass on it.
