Light weight action

Looking to build a custom rifle that is lightweight but a shooter out to 700 yards. Thinking either 300 WSM or 28 Nosler
Why are your recommendations for an action? Currently looking at the Razor TI or similar.

Impact also seems to be in the final stages of their first batch of Ti actions.

Not a custom but a Tikka T3 action is very light around 22oz I think. The T3 action is known for being true out of the box and you can pick them up reasonably cheap secondhand. I’ve built a couple WSM off them and have been very pleased. If your going with a 28 nosler I’d look at another action though do to the limitations of the tikka action 3.4” COAL without modification and only around 3.7” with modifications.
