Yeah, @Macchina , the narrow width is the problem. It isnt even wide enough for two standard-width pads to lay next to each other. Plus we’ve been married for going on 25 years so a little space is nice sometimes!
We both have a hard time sleeping, and both pretty active sleepers, so the extra room is super helpful so we arent constantly waking each other up. Im conscious it has a price in weight, but getting my wife a good hope for a decent nights sleep is an absolute necessity to get us out at all. Even 54” is narrower than Im really looking for.
