Looking for a light weight chassis type or traditional with adj cheek. I love the Oryx chassis, but it is still too much weight
I have a SA 700 clone Bergara 6.5 PRC that shoots lights outs. It's just heavy. I got the Oryx and it didn't help the MOA but did add a lil weight over the Bergara B14 HMR chassis stock. I want a light weight SA rem stock that isn't the $500 and up stuff or a year long wait list.
Too much to ask?
Anyone try Oryx new field stock? Anyone know it's real weight? I like the MDT cheaper cost version and thats what I am after. My barrel is heavy and the NF is 2 lbs. I do not need a heavy stock.

McMillan edge fill game hunter. Add adjustable cheek piece if you want but it adds weight obviously.

I just got a Manners Long Range Hunter and it’s excellent. Carbon fiber stock, mini chassis that makes action install easy, 37oz with bottom metal if I remember right.

If you want light and cheap, keep the factory stock and add a cheekrest. The LRH was $1,200.

Not $500, but XLR 4.0 magnesium is the lightest chassis I’ve found. I am very pleased with mine. I’m saving to put my tikka in one next.

i'm patiently waiting for mine :D i'm right in the middle of the projected lead time when i ordered, and have been checking emails daily waiting for that shipping email, haha

i'm pretty excited about getting it set up

Mdt hnt 26. The cost is up there and I debated it for a while before I finally ordered one but after shooting with it and packing it around I am glad I did. Now I want one for another rifle. Very light and comfortable. I went with the folder and built in arca. I think it’s the best lightweight chassis on the market.
