Lidar and Terrain -X for OnX

OnX Maps has a new function called Terrian-X (still in beta) for seeing slope angles and aspect, in addition to topo using lidar now. Pretty cool stuff!

That lidar feature looks really useful. It's wild how accessible that type of data has become just in the last 10 years.

Yeah the amount of detail is crazy. I am not going to use the "game changer" phrase but this will save me time and effort.

I am excited that Onx has the lidar. I have been using Caltopo in addition to Onx. The lidar is better, the shaded relief is awesome, and you can download 3d maps for offline use.
