I just had this put together by the gunsmith and am forced to sell.
Here are the details:
-20” Carbon Six featherweight barrel threaded 5/8x24. (Bought here and I will link the other post)
-CTR stock. Freefloated but could use more. Definitely not “aggressive”. Has vertical grip, OG recoil pad and LOP spacers
-Stainless Left hand tikka T3X action. Originally a long action, I swapped the bolt stop with an OMR shorty
-SRS hunters tail
-30mm Low UM rings.
-2 full boxes of Hornady ELDX
-1 magazine
Price:
-rifle with rings and ammo:$1300
-Rifle with rings, ammo and heavily used SWFA 3-15 MOA side focus: $1600
-Rifle with 1” rings and almost new Trijicon Huron 3-9x40 (not pictured) $1700
Both scopes have boxes. SWFA will come some accessories.
All $$ shipped to your FFL. Must be PP F&F or add the fee. I’m willing to do a face to face as well.
I only shot a box of rounds through this. In the linked barrel post, I experienced somewhat similar results. But I wasn’t shooting very long strings because the suppressor was heating up. I got better than MOA 10 shot group on an indoor 100yd range with good rest.
Please note that I remounted the scope after that range trip because the smith didn’t use the supplied loctite.
The magazine has some rust on the base plate.
There are some slight marks on the barrel near the action.
The barrel was properly head spaced and cycled rounds well.
I could do a partial trade but only interested in 7mm PRC, 300 WSM, 338 Federal (probably against my better judgement), or similar. I need a larger 7 mag/30 caliber rifle for youth hunts and a guided elk hunt. Im pretty picky so, I’d prefer a straight sale.
