Anybody have experience with LeverEvolution in the 22 Creedmoor? I know guys using it in other 22 caliber cartridges with great success, and I've read about it in the Creed... However I can't seem to find any data. Any experience at all?
Lever was designed to get better performance out of modest cartridges like the 30-30. 22 Creedmoor is pretty dang overbore. Maybe it'd work, especially with lighter bullets, but it wouldn't be on the list of stuff to try in a 22 creedmoor for me.
That seems like a really fast burning powder for 22cm. 22 arc seems like a much better fit.
I bet you hit serious pressure signs before hitting any real velocity improvements. Plus your case fill will be super low, leading to ignition issues and large SD and ES.
Superformance or staball 6.5 would be better choices if you are set on a ball powder.
