I'm a big fan. Looking for a little brother 1894 SBL in .357 Mag. Already checked in with SiCo that I can use my Osprey .45 2.0 with full power .357.

This is my Winchester 94 30-30 that was passed down to me from my grandpa. It’s a 1955 model and it had a weaver 1.5 power mounted on it but I’ve since removed it because the side mount is just an awkward sob.
I’ve taken several deer with it including my first buck. I still carry this gun on drive days now, I t’s so light and handy.

I have a Winchester model 1894 in 30 WCF. Legend has it that my paternal grandfather received it as a present for his 12th birthday in 1913. The serial number is too faint to make out so I cannot confirm DOM. I’ve carried it but haven’t killed with it.

Buck in my avatar was with a .45 colt Marlin 1894, iron sights off the ground at about 20 yards. I had several before that with a 336C 30-30 but that really got me hooked on lever actions. Would like to get a chance someday to take one with my great grandfathers Marlin 1893 .30-30 from the early 1900’s.

Anyone else imagining a lever in rokstok? I don't have a beautiful lever action passed down, but now your beautiful guns are making me daydream about having the action, and can't help but think about what the "rokslide special" might be for this category.

I've got a takedown BLR in 7-08 that I'm mounting with SWFA and threading/suppressing. Loses the classic look with the sights, but I never use them and want to mount the scope lower. I'll circle back when it's all put together. Love the BLR though. How accurate is this one with the SWFA properly mounted?

I too, love lever actions.
This year I would like to kill a doe with one of these rifles…. Ruger/Marlin 1895 Trapper 45/70 with Trijicon Accupoint 1-4, and a WWG trigger. Smith & Wesson 1854 in 45 Colt with a Trijicon MRO.
Both shoot suppressed.

What cans are you running on those 45s?

Actually very accurate, with the trigger job. Otherwise pretty hard to shoot at longer distances. But they are basically a bolt action with a lever vs a bolt handle and very accurate. If you can get trigger down 5 or less lbs.

Factory hornady 200 grain, 2475 fps, 8 shot zero 1.5”
Handload, 200 grain hammer hunter, 2670 FPS, 8 shot zero 1.25”

I also plan to thread for suppress but need to figure out what thread going to work in 35 cal and thin barrel.

Regarding the trigger adjustments: I’ve been told only a few folks actually know how to adjust them properly. Who did you use?

I’m going to have to dig thru records, unless couple guys here chime in, he’s in Connecticut.

Lots of smiths can improve the trigger, it’s the re assembly that’s problematic due to the complexity of the gears and the timing involved.

If an improved trigger assembly does not drop hammer, or allow firing pin to hit primer and she won’t go bang you may have to send it to browning. They will fix it and promptly restore the crappy factory trigger. Policy, non negotiable.

My JM Marlin XLR 45/70. It had a 2-7 Leupold for a while, then Skinner peeps, and now a Burris Mini 4x in what should be its final configuration.

308 Marlin Express is one of my favorite lever actions in my gun safe. Everyone has used this rifle to kill a buck, hog or bear. Out to 400 yds it really impresses folks with its accuracy. I put a cowboy kit trigger in it and it's right at 1 moa accuracy with factory leverevolution ammo. The 160 is my favorite but we have to use the 140 monoflex in Commiefornia.

Dead Air Primal mostly but also a Form 1 can I put together a few years ago. 10” length, 3 17-4 SS baffles and 7 Ti baffles.

Sound good and really takes a bite out of the bark and recoil.
