I have been leveling sights for a little while but came across a question. There seems to be a lot of different info out there and people do it different ways. When you are leveling your 1st axis ( I have a black gold ) do you place your leveling bubble on the stationary part of the sight where the site tape goes, or are you putting it on the actually slider bar that moves up and down. I’ve done it both ways. But it seems like they are different on one of my sights. Just curious. Thanks guys.

Level the bubble to the vertical bar that the housing is attached to/slides up/down on. You want the vertical bar to be vertical when the bubble reads level, that way your housing slides up/down plumb to the earth. Position of your bow makes no difference; the bow can be at your natural cant if you have one.
