Looking for a recent assessment of herd health and quality for this area. I can take a caribou on trophy fee as part of a goat hunt this fall. Just wanting to have the right expectations and frame of reference. Older posts and feedback (10+ years ago) suggest the area was over hunted and had a high predator impact.

Hunting with golden bear or shesley?

I killed a caribou off level last season, was good representation of the species saw few legal bulls, never saw any giants, but I think bc in general is getting super hard to kill the bulls comparable to nwt
