Anyone spent some time hunting with the Leupold Windplex? How did it perform in low light? I have the Firedot duplex in one VX5HD and the Windplex in the other. I think the Firedot duplex is a little thick for precision shooting IMO.

The windplex was too bulky for my liking for precision shooting. I opted for the impact 29. While a bit busier I really liked it past 800 yards and didn’t struggle seeing it in low light.

I have a vx5hd with the windplex on my moose/bear rifle. No issues using it in low-light looking at dark animals on the banks of rivers and in treelines. I typically have a brighter image when looking through the scope vs my naked eye, so the glass isn't a limiting factor and the reticle can still be seen fine. I shot a black bear at about 400 yards in the timber at last light with zero issue using the reticle.
