Sounds right. I’ve had mostly good experiences with Leupold. Lots of other members here have not.

For VX6HD money, you could get a Nightforce NX8 or Maven RS1.2. I’m also a fan of the Trijicon 3-18x44 and the Steiner 3-18x50. I have all 4 of those options. I have the Leupold Gen 1 3-18x44 that I sold with a 300 PRC to a good friend.

Don’t think you’d be disappointed with either Gen 1 or Gen 2. I find more value in the other options but would not hesitate to use the VX6HD again.

Yes, I have a vx3 and want to go up to a larger objective. I really like the cds as well. I have always had good luck with Leopoldo.
