If I'm not mistaken the VX-5 has 75 MOA of elevation adjustment, at least according to their website. It will only let u go up 2 turnes only? I will have to look at the V4 for sure.

havent used the Leupold but have used the Zeiss and it is unbelievable. Light and crystal clear.Looking to upgrade, thoughts on which is better choice. Standard plex reticle, figuring 3-4 - 14-15X 44mm objective.
Have you tried focusing the diopter when the illumination is on to clean it up?Vx5 illumination blurs too much in really low light for my eyes. V4 dot works better for me.
I have, but it won't adjust out my astigmatismHave you tried focusing the diopter when the illumination is on to clean it up?
I am a big fan of the VX5. I have been putting the 44mm windplex on all my hunting rifles. For the money it's hard to beat the glass and the weight. 44 is a little more compact to fit in an Eberlestock scabbard too.
