Leupold VX3-HD?

They work fine, I have the 4.5X14s on all my rifles. My buddy has always used Bushnel single power until he used one of mine now he’s got one for his rifle too.

I have a couple of them. One on a .243 tikka, another on a 7mm -08 tikka. The .243 one came off another tikka in 30-06. They’ve been good scopes so far. both scopes have seen a thousand+ rounds each with no issues.

There has been discussion elsewhere on the slide that some Leupold scopes have not stood up to a certain drop test, which I’ve never done. The one that came off the 30-06 has been on a couple 10 day wilderness muley hunts, with many many miles spent on a shoulder strap beating against the side of my pack. They don’t get babied, but I’ve also never done the aforementioned drop tests with them.

I have a Leupold that survived a kinda drop test. Rolled an atv 800 feet down a mountain with my rifle attached to it. It flew off after about a 100 feet. Bent the barrel and broke the stock but nothing wrong with the scope. Remounted it on another rifle and it works great.

My front lens came loose and I lost all confidence in it. Leupold fixed it, but it’s still in the box awaiting a rimfire to go on top of, or being re-homed. I haven’t decided yet.
It won’t go on another centerfire hunting rifle.

I have a vx3 4.5-14x50 on a smokeless muzzleloader and haven’t had any issues or had to adjust it in 4 years.

I have a VX3 HD it is a good scope that tracks as it should. I have used various Leupold scopes for over thirty years, and they have served me well.
