Leupold 4.5-14x50 VX-III Overview
Leupold keeps their successful tradition of delivering state-of-the-art sport optics alive with their persistent attention to detail, precision and quality. This American optics company, located in Portland, Oregon, pioneered the process of nitrogen purging to waterproof riflescopes in 1947. Since then and to this day, Leupold continues to develop new technologies, and use advanced materials to push the envelope to produce some of the world's finest sport optics.

The VX-III riflescope series offer a remarkable feature set that is complimented by Leupold's legendary reliability and performance. VX-III riflescopes offer absolute water and fog-proof construction, a main-tube crafted from aircraft quality aluminum, and optical performance configured upon the Index Matched Lens System for optimum clarity and brightness all day long.
Hunters looking for a scope that can reach out to great distances will be well served with the 4.5-14x50 VX-III Riflescope mounted to their favorite receiver. With this scope you have the power needed to make distant targets seem up-close-and-personal. Accurate and responsible shot placement is always a key concern. Dialing this VX-III up to 14x can definitely make shots that would otherwise be impossible a very tangible reality.

Lockable fast-focus eyepiece
Absolutely waterproof and fogproof
1/4 MOA precision adjustments with resettable pointer dials
1.0" Main-tube crafted from rugged aircraft-quality aluminum
Silver finish is an excellent match for all-weather stainless receivers
Index Matched Lens System
Proprietary coating materials are individually specified for each lens surface within the riflescope, based on its refractive index, placement, and function. These coatings are also matched to each lens' glass type and multi-layered to minimize reflections and maximize light transmission. The result is unparalleled brightness and clarity.
Boone & Crockett Reticle in the Second Focal Plane
Leupold worked closely with the Boone and Crockett Club to create a reticle that will enhance your long range shooting skill by providing precise aiming points for easy-to-remember range increments & wind deflection. A Duplex style aiming point (traditionally sighted in to 200 yd) and additional hold points for 300, 400, 450, & 500 yd offer superior long-range capability. Windage hold points (for 10 mph winds) are located on the 300 & 400 yd hold over points.
This reticle is positioned in the rear or second focal plane so it will not magnify when the scope is zoomed to high power. This leaves the sight picture unobstructed for a clear view at all times.
