What do you like, what did you hate, if you got something different what did you get and like better about it?

Looking to put this on a .270 win, max yardage 500 yards.

I haven’t spent a ton of time behind this optic but I have used one. I think they’re a good option in the mid tier range. They’re light and compact, still giving you plenty of magnification for big game at your stated range. The biggest con is that this specific one only gives you a 1 inch tube. I’d opt for the 30mm tube option, but it only comes in a 40mm objective. It’s also not the clearest glass, but it’s good for the price imo.

If you’re not dead set on this optic, Leupold’s VX5HD 3-15x44 can be had for around $1,000 depending on reticle choice. That gives you all the pros of this scope with both a bigger tube and objective, at the cost of weight and overall size.

I dont have the ZL version of this scope. But I do love it on my 6.5 for out to 500 yards
