Leupold TBR accuracy?? How far off?

Has anyone run calculations on how far the new Leupold RX TBR calculations can be off?

The groups are based on bullet drop ranges at 600 yards. My win mag is at the lower end of one of the groups and I assume that group (60-66”) of drop uses the middle of that group at 600 to calculate it.

As you get out further how far can it be off of exact at 700,800,900,1000 yards? Personally i wont shoot game that far. However... just curious how far it can be trusted in a hunting situation.

Hoping to find a true write up/research on this and not subjective experiences or gut feelings. Give me the cold hard facts.

Any talk of Leupold coming out with a rangefinder that is as programmable as the G7? Seems like the ranging capability is there if they just added the programability.

Not familiar with the Kilo. I will check it out.

I have an older Leupold 1000 with TBR. It works for my shorter ranges, but it also has fewer ballistic groups I believe than the new RX models. Looking at upgrading before too long

Only one way to find out, and that's to take it out past 600 with your rifle, and check your drops. Personally, I'd feel better just using an app to figure more exact corrections for shooting past 500.
