Sliders,

Just curious on who has been using the SX5 spotter. Curious to see how it stacks up against for instance the Maven S1

Let me know your hands on impressions 🤘🏼

I've looked everywhere as well, found nothing but promotion videos/articles on it.

Guess once you are spending that much, might as well go with a swaro ats/sts for a few hundred more

Reviving this thread if anyone has used this spotter. I'm interested in it but also recall a video where a gentleman mentioned the 27 power being less than ideal for heat waves. I believe he said a 20x lower end could perform better in those circumstances. Curious for any input on that topic as well as overall feedback about the quality.

Hey guys, late to the party here but I may be able to offer some insight. I've had this spotter for almost 2 years now and love it. I've used it primarily in WA Backcountry, Hells Canyon, and Sawtooths and have zero issues or complaints with it. It really excels in low light. Idaho this year was able to identify a branch bull at roughly 1.7 miles at damn near dark. Had it at 45x. Wasn't counting points but still pretty impressive. We had a Swaro in camp as well and comparing the 2 I couldn't come up with much differences. I'm sure somebody with more experienced eyes could, maybe. For me, its been a great scope that I will continue to use. Easy to focus, crystal clear up to 50x although you do lose a bit of that at 55x depending on light conditions
