Does anyone know if Leupold uses a thinner wall tube in their hunting lines vs their Mark lines? I know SB does it with their hunting line designated LM (light metal). I would suspect Swaro has thicker wall tubing on the X5 series.

Might be interesting to see if there on failure points common to most scopes that don't pass the drop test.
That's why I asked about tube thickness. I would imagine it comes into play, but how much I would like to know.
