Leupold MK4HD Updates

I feel like this may be a stereotypical post for a new poster, but I've been reading the threads on here and was curious on updates, if any exist. I saw there was a drop test for a MK4HD 2.5-10 that was semi-sort of passed but failed, and another poster did a test for the 6-24 that looked like a pass, with another member posting a seemingly positive test in that same thread. Has that been the trend now for the new MK4HD, with it showing a drastic improvement over past models? And has there been anything on the 4.5-18 model? (The actual model I have interest in) Any further experiences would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

I think you’d be taking a chance, if you really like that scope, probably best to just buy one and proof it yourself, it’s the only way to really know. Personally there’s too much past reliability issues with Leupold so not worth taking the chance too me. There’s a bunch of good scopes that have past the drop tests that I’d feel better about trying first, but even then I’d still be proofing them as well

That's my big hang up with the MK4. I am keeping the Maven RS 1.2 in mind as an alternative, I'm just really hoping the Leupold breaks their track record, I like all of the surface level features of it. Thankfully it will be several months before I will be picking a scope. It'll be going on a HK mr762 (I already have the rifle)
