I’ve posted this before but I have well over 10,000 rounds on my 3.6-18. For the past two match/hunting seasons it was my only scope and I bounced it back and forth between my match and hunting rifles. 6.5 creed, 6x47, 6 BRX AND 6.5 PRC. At one point I had my 20 lb match rifle rested on my practice barricade in the garage. Embarrassingly I left it unattended balancing on the bag 4’ off the ground. It wasn’t quite balanced right and fell backwards right onto the scope on the concrete floor. That was well over a year ago and it has never missed dialed or failed to RTZ.

I’m not saying they’re all perfect but I‘d trust mine with my life.

I recently picked up a 5-25 and some badass hawkins rings for both scopes. The 3.6-18 now stays on the hunting rifle and the 5-25 is on the match rifle.

What power do you keep scope for low light close range hunting in timber? I have the illuminated reticle and debating from a stand in whitetail woods to leave it on 5x with the illumination on or off. How is the battery life on the reticle?

I am beyond happy with my 7-35 so far. Very clear glass and light gathering is killer. Dialing back to 18 power I can see well past legal shooting light. Turrets have performed as they should.

That is my all time favorite scope. I put one on my 6x47 lapua and I truly have zero complaints with the scope. I would love to see it keep growing in popularity so Hawkins/Talley would come out with a lightweight one piece ring/base so I can ditch the pic rail.
I run a NF 5.5-22x50 on my main go to STW but I’ll prob end up pulling it and slapping one of these Mark 5’s on it as the reticle is just amazing.

Amazing scopes!

I just put 2 on sale in Classifieds because I simply don’t need 3 of them. I am keeping one for my 7mm STW but I am going back to VX5HDs for my Tikka 308 and 6.5 Creedmoor.

I had a mark 5Hd 3-18 with illuminated TMR reticle when they first came out and it tracked perfect and glass was crystal clear but the CA was unbearable. I used it until Nightforce came out with the NX8 2.5-20 and couldn't be happier. Just test it with white colored targets and see if the CA has been addressed.
