I have the 3-9x40 non-illuminated mil dot and I like it. My model has no parallax adjustment, but for a 3-9x40 I don't really find it necessary unless I'm trying to use it under 100 yards. I've shot it out to 600 no problem. The only problem with the Mark 3HD line is the limited elevation turret travel. With the built-in zero-stop you can only dial up to 5.5 or 5.6 mils. For me, this isn't an issue because I have it on my Mk12 Mod H and my range limits 556 to 600 yards and 5.1 mils gets me out there. Other than that, the elevation turret has tactile, positive clicks, the magnification ring has a nice, short throw, and the glass is gtg. I would recommend picking one up.
