#8 - what does the i stand for in the model number?
No idea…it was just a progression in the model line before HD if I remember correctly.

Also, I just cleaned up the posting to reflect that both variable gloss scopes are available. The matte scope has been gone for a while, but I had marked a gloss one sold by mistake.
