Thinking about picking up one of these for next season. Anyone have both and prefer one to the other?

10x. Would use for whitetail and western glassing in conjunction with a spotter. Last I had checked they were both right around the $900-$950 mark. Looking at leupolds site they’ve actually dropped a bit.For what purpose, which power, and what price are you finding for each?
When I got those Leupolds they were like $350!10x. Would use for whitetail and western glassing in conjunction with a spotter. Last I had checked they were both right around the $900-$950 mark. Looking at leupolds site they’ve actually dropped a bit.
I haven’t used the Gen 2 BX4s. But will say the Gen 1 was nothing special and I can guarantee the Maven will be substantially better.
I’m not a glass snob. Had I not ran into a perfect storm of tough lighting last season I’d probably still be using my BX4s. They worked well for me until they didn’t. The difference wasn’t something I believe you will see looking through a pair of binos at the store. This just tells me I really need to get behind some "good" glass. The jump from cheap, entry level Nikon binoculars to the BX4 was an astronomical leap for me. I simply cannot fathom how something could be substantially better than that.
Looks like my local Sportsman's has some Swaro NL Pures in stock. Might just have to put my eyeballs through it.Not sure if that's a good idea though. It might just taint my good outlook on the BX4's.
