I'm not sure if they'd work for your VX5 but I have a set from a VX -3i that I'm interested in selling. 40mm objective.

I have the eye piece from this set, if it fits I'd be willing to part with it as my used scope came with one already but I needed the objective piece and couldn't find it separately. This one's brand new. I won't be able to measure it or lookup model numbers till I get home later tonight.
