Scope is like new. No rig marks. I do not think it was ever mounted. There is a story on this unit.
I bought it here from a member maybe a year ago or less. Had a new rifle I was going to use it on. While waiting to have it mounted it fell off of my shop bench onto the cement floor. Obviously my heart sank. It survived with very little damage. A smallish dent in the ocular bell which is were it impacted.
A month or so later after I set it aside I decided to send to Leupold to have them check it out. They had it for maybe 3 weeks. I called to check on it. Got to the fella who knew about it. He told me it was inspected, repaired and went through their comprehensive mechanical and visual inspection and was all ready to be returned to me and it was schedule to depart their factory in about three days.
I told him great. How much did I owe them? He told me nothing! I said, no, no. I damaged the scope. It had nothing to do with a defect. It was all my doing. He again said No balance due. To be honest I was a bit overcome with gratefulness. A real shock.
So anyway I ended selling the rifle and do not see another one in my future so am going to let this go. It is line new. Not a mark on it. Original box and paperwork.
I am including a new set of Talley precision rings for a Tikka.
