Alright, who else was surprised by the pocket watch AP x Swatch collab? I did not have pocket watch on my bingo card...

They’d advertised as a new way to tell time, so I figured necklace.

I’m now in the market for a “dumb” watch. Looking at field watches, really just want something durable and simple preferably with a date. I see a lot of recommendations for Hamilton field khaki. Anyone have experience with those or any other recommendations?

I wear a Timex Expedition with a six dollar stretch bracelet I got at Goodwill.

The watch was a return on Amazon so $40 for both. It's about 0.5 second slow per day and seems to be pretty tough. I wear it everywhere and it gets washed multiple times a day.

Some day I will get a nice watch, but for now this looks nice and is functioning well.
