I played with one last week. Overall pretty sweet. The one flaw or downfall for me since I wear a watch 24/7 was the bracelet. Push pins and just feels cheap for a 2k watch imo. Overall I liked the watch but would have to swap that bracelet for sure.I have an investment property I’m hoping sells pretty quick, should hit the market next week. Eyeballing one of the new Hydroconquest 39s or GMT 41. They check a lot of boxes.
I have seen people wearing 50mm watches. It looks kooky !I'm glad to see 39s back in the conversation.
That big overstated watch phase was obnoxious...Watches for Lexus buyers.

Imo this is still the perfect watch. Has not left my wrist in over a month. Wore it to a wedding last week, to the lake and gym yesterday, and will be on my wrist at the beach next week. Just perfection for my style and taste.
Ginulalt
Classic staple imo. They never go outta the style. Owning and wearing the same watch for 40 years is awesome, post some pics and stories about it!My Datejust working well since Christmas 1986
Poor photo of my 1964 Seamaster 550 movement that went back to Omega for a buff and fluff including an OE crystal.
Pins don’t bother me. Lose a grand Seiko bracelet screw and you’ll love push pins. I hate messing with those tiny screws.I played with one last week. Overall pretty sweet. I will stand firm if a guy wants an amazing watch in that 1500-2000 range I don’t think anything can touch a Ginulalt for his finishing and build quality. Everyone I’ve owned or been around feels like like it cost 3 to 4x what they are. Really impressive. His brackets are also the closest wearing and quality I’ve found to Rolex.
I just use bowstring wax or blue loctite. Knock on wood haven’t lost a Rolex screw yet in 20 some years of wearing them. I could see it happening though.Pins don’t bother me. Lose a grand Seiko bracelet screw and you’ll love push pins. I hate messing with those tiny screws.
