Ok, so I think I’ve narrowed it down and want some feedback.
Wife and I are headed to brooks range for a bou hunt next year. Fly out date is Sep 9. I have a big Agnes UL fly creek 2 but I’m thinking I may not wanna use that for Arctic circle in September. So, I think I’ve narrows it to the Nallo 2 and Nammatj 2 from Hilleberg. Will most likely get the GT version bc having a big space for boots and gear is a sure plus when you don’t have to worry about pack weight. I plan on getting more use out of it in the future and it would work well in Colorado since I don’t pack much as of now where I hunt.
So, pros and cons. Which do you recommend and why? Difference that I see is one is a bit stronger built than the other. (Not that the lesser built isn’t a bomb proof tent)
So what say you? I don’t mind spending a little extra if it’s worth it. I also like the idea of extra ventilation as well for warmer nights or condensation. (Nammatj 2)
I think we are good with sleep systems. Wife has a xtherm pad and I have an xlite. She has a zero degree Coleman and I have a 20 degree slick. I may upgrade just because her bag is bulky and rather large but she slept well in it last year with 2 nights below 20 in Colorado. And in the big Agnes tent as well.
