Lets talk fishing rods

I only use shimano reels, Stradic FL is my favorite but the Sahara and others I have are good too.

For rods, I use st. Croix, they seem as nice as g loomis to me and their warranty is legit. I’ve used the warranty before after breaking a rod and there was no drama to it at all.

I have a moonshine spinning rod but it’s all blinged out with dance guides and reel seats and stuff. It’s a solid rod for pike fishing but not my favorite.

For a long time I just had a bass pro whoopin stick (still have it) and I caught tons of pike, char, rainbows and grayling with it. Never really felt like I needed a better rod but I definetly wanted a stiffer rod than the whoopin stick.

When I’m moose hunting I take a 4 piece ugly stick with a shimano Sahara on it.
