Started as a 223. Sent my bolt to Justin at Kinport Rifles and had him open the bolt face to accept 6 ARC (cost $100). Using Waters 223 mags and printed magazines from @pods8 (Rugged Stitching).

You could also go with a standard bolt face and have it bushed. I believe Kampfeld will do that for relatively cheap.

Caught the tikka build bug after my last, had to start on another.

Stockys Hunter VG - @Tanner did the grip build up / texturing work + paint job and knocked it out of the park

Oregon Mountain Rifle bolt handle / bolt shroud

Next up: barrel is getting chopped to 20” and will get a can. Will likely throw some OMR bottom metal on as well.

After ~7 months, it’s finally reached its final form. Had the barrel chopped and threaded by Fritz at Black Canyon Customs in CO, did a great job. Airlock ZG 6.5 to finish it off. 8.5lbs loaded and getting 1/2” with factory 147 ELDM.

How far does the barrel stick out from the stock? I'm really leaning towards the Manners LRH for my tikka build, but I will have a 16.5" proof research barrel. I'm trying to determine if there is enough barrel to accept an over the barrel suppressor.
