Let's See Your Semi-Custom Tikka Builds

Caught the tikka build bug after my last, had to start on another.

6.5 PRC Roughtech
Trijicon Credo 2.5-15x
Stockys Hunter VG - @Tanner did the grip build up / texturing work + paint job and knocked it out of the park

Oregon Mountain Rifle bolt handle / bolt shroud

Next up: barrel is getting chopped to 20” and will get a can. Will likely throw some OMR bottom metal on as well.

Glad to hear you like it! Looks like a super capable rifle.

not exactly a tikka but close. Sako 75 SM action and trigger, Krieger 1:8.5 #5 26” chambered in 7wsm long throat, McMillan heavy fill GAP camo, NXS 5.5-22x50. Elk and Mule deer have been highly allergic to the 175 Elite Hunters @ 3030 FPS. Legit half moa every day rifle often way under a half.IMG_4326.jpeg

Tikka action with an 18” PBB 6cm barrel from LS wild - Awesome experience with them btw
Stockys VG Hunter stock and a modified grip and a custom paint job

The group shown is a 10 shot group with 103 eldx before I bedded it. I’m going to do another group after bedding and compare.

Finally got my first tikka.

T3 7 rem mag
Barrel cut to 22" and threaded
KRG Echo
Talley ultralight with an arken epl4
175 fusions chronoed on the garmin at 2743 average for 10 shots.

I already bought up a standard bolt body and I will eventually be picking up a 6 creed barrel.

Question for you guys - has anyone had their Tikka bolt fluted or cerakoted and did it change the slickness or feel/operation of the action at all? Thank you!

Don’t do it. Unless you’re dead set on the look- fluting just introduces more junk. Cerakote has shown some impacts on function
